Albin is a farmer at heart. Thanks to his nature-friendly farming methods, rare plants like Turk’s cap lily, gentian, and arnica continue to thrive in his meadows. With the support of his family, he manages his farm sustainably, rooted in tradition and in harmony with nature.

In family ownership since around 1800. The farm that Albin runs with great dedication today has been in the family for over 200 years. Generations have passed down their knowledge and values. This deep connection to farming continues to shape Albin’s work to this day.

The family runs the farm together, cares for the animals, and shares the daily tasks. Everyone contributes their own strengths, ideas, and experience – whether in the barn, out in the fields, or in the household. Especially valuable is the fact that all four children help out and actively take part in farm life. A total of six family members live on the farm – their close cooperation makes it a place of unity and true community.

Albin manages his farm under particularly challenging conditions. A total of 113 hardship points have been assigned to his land – a sign of how steep, difficult to access, or labor-intensive the farming is. These points highlight what often remains unseen in everyday life: the great effort required to practice agriculture in harmony with nature under such conditions.
