Robert’s meadows are partly located on steep slopes, which makes daily work significantly more challenging. Strength, skill, and a lot of experience are required—highlighting just how valuable and demanding farming in alpine regions is.

There is a special cow on the farm—the oldest in the barn and far more than just livestock to Robert. Her calm, gentle nature and the deep bond they share make her truly unique and show how precious such animals are.

Robert’s cows have access to an outdoor run all year round. This allows them to move freely, enjoy fresh air, and follow their natural instincts – an important contribution to the animals’ well-being and species-appropriate husbandry.

The high altitude brings not only fresh air and stunning landscapes but also special challenges for farm work. Every task here requires care and experience – and that’s what makes daily life so unique.

On his farm, Robert cares for 23 cows with great dedication and sensitivity. The daily care of the animals – from feeding to grooming – is an integral part of his routine. Their milk is a valuable contribution to the farm’s own circular economy and reflects the close bond between people, animals, and nature.
